I just planted coriander, basil, chives, lettuce, thyme and some other things which I have forgotten. This has made me happy.

Old, new
Adam on the train in London, the day before DTVGE’s Brixton gig a few weeks ago.
Last night we made a hasty trip to London again to see Why? perform in Islington. Holly was already down there for the weekend, so Adam, Evan and myself decided to join her for the evening.
The trip was fueled by well known energy drinks and bad radio + freestyle scat and barbershop singing.
We made it back to Manchester at around half four this morning.
Other things that have been happening include me nearly dying from inhaling too much burning paint fumes while we decorate a small room in the house for Holly and I to have a study in.
I finished my book of photos and notes and drawings today. And bought a new one. Scary times.

Photosets are pretty damn cool. This a little book of drawings/paintings I did the other day.
I used a mixture of charcoal, an ink stamp pad ripped up and used as a sort of sponge, and a method I started using a few years ago where I take a load of cheap biros and cut the nibs off and then blow the ink out on to the page and draw with the drips and spatters.
I’m going to do a lot more of this kind of thing.
